Daily Feeding Directions
Feed once daily, mixed thoroughly into your horse's regular grain or feed. Consistent daily feeding is key — skipping days can slow progress and extend the time before you see results.
Every horse is different. Body weight, current hoof condition, existing diet, workload, and overall health all influence how quickly — and how noticeably — your horse responds to supplementation.
What to Monitor
As you work through your supply, here's what to keep an eye on:
- Hoof wall: Look for improved hardness and less chipping or cracking at the growth margin
- Mane & tail: Watch for length, increased density, and a shinier appearance
- Coat: A healthy, dappled sheen often develops as nutrition improves from the inside out
- Farrier feedback: Ask your farrier to note hoof quality at the next trim — they often notice changes before you do
Consistency Is Everything
Hooves grow approximately 3/8 inch per month. That means changes in hoof quality take time to grow out and become visible. Daily and consistent feeding gives you the best picture of how your horse is responding — and sets the foundation for continued improvement with ongoing feeding.
